Requiem meeting dedicated to Chernobyl Tragedy Day

A memorial meeting dedicated to Chernobyl Tragedy Day was held in Zhodino on April 26, on the territory of the Church of the Holy Archangel Michael near the monument in honor of the liquidators of the Chernobyl accident. On April 26, 1986, the world was shaken by the explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. This man-made disaster became one of the most horrific events of the twentieth century... Representatives of the city government, participants in the liquidation of the accident, and representatives of public organizations gathered to honor the memory of the victims. A prayer service for the victims was performed by Bishop Ambrose of Borisov and Maryinogorsk. We sincerely want to wish everyone a safe, bright, kind, happy world in which there is no place for tragedies, cataclysms, and disasters. Remember all those good and kind people whose lives were taken on this day. Don't forget all those heroes who sacrificed their lives for our bright future!
