On May 8, a ceremonial event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War was held in the cozy walls of the BELAZ Palace of Culture! In a ceremonial atmosphere, jubilee medals were presented by the chairman of the Zhodino city executive committee - Alexander Nikolaevich Tsivako and veteran of the Baikonur cosmodrome, honored tester of space technology - Vladimir Evgenievich Murashko. In a musical and theatrical format, artists from the city of Zhodino told about the terrible pages of our history ... what difficult trials fell to the lot of Belarusians ... No matter how many years have passed since that tragic day when the war began, they will always be alive in the people's memory ... the immeasurable suffering of the war years and the enormous courage of the people ... People did not fight and die for glory, but for life on earth... Victory Day was, is and should remain the most sacred holiday! After all, those who paid for it with their lives gave us the opportunity to live now, and we must always remember this!
