On November 20, a national anti-smoking campaign, "I Choose a Smoke-Free Life!", was held at Gymnasium No. 1. Margarita Nikolaevna Kovalchuk, a representative of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, and Veronika Nikolaevna Smal'tser, a specialist at the Central City Hospital, gave an educational lecture on the colossal harm of smoking and reminded children that this harmful habit is destructive to young bodies. The Culture and Leisure Center organized an interactive adventure, where the children, accompanied by a charming pirate, embarked on a fascinating journey through the land of health. Throughout the game, the children learned: Why sport is a true friend and a sure path to success; Why you should avoid cigarette smoke and those who smoke; And how to create a healthy environment around you. The children actively participated in quizzes, competitions, and discussions, gaining valuable knowledge and filling themselves with positive energy. We are confident that events like these help instill in young people the right values, a conscious attitude toward their health, and an understanding that a cigarette-free life is the path to a bright, opportunity-filled future!
