The 61st Star Walk to the Sites of Military and Labor Glory of the Belarusian People

On January 28, Zhodino welcomed the 61st Star Walk to the sites of military and labor glory of the Belarusian people. A ceremonial rally was held for students and faculty of the M. Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University at the monument to the patriotic mother A.F. Kupriyanova. Welcoming remarks were delivered by Natalia Mikhailovna Sushko, First Deputy Chair of the Zhodino City Executive Committee. Parting words were delivered by Sergei Petrovich Shuplyak, Dean of the Faculty of History, PhD in History, and Associate Professor. Dmitry Minich, Director of the Zhodino Museum of Local History, explained the history of the monument. During the walk, participants will meet with war and labor veterans, lay flowers at monuments to the Great Patriotic War, explore historical sites, and perform patriotic concerts.
